Changed design makes it less practical!..
a great faucet but the design has changed and makes it less practical. the previous model that was much loved had the spout about 2" higher above the sink. the current design makes it difficult to fit barely a 1 gallon pitcher under the spout.

Great faucet for a great price...
really nice solid built unit...just has a really nice "feel". the brushed nickel hides water spots and the smooth finish is very easy to clean

Quality is good and it is a nice size for my sink..
I liked this model because it didn't have a big bow in the neck. I find the higher options splash everywhere. it fits well with my double sink and my plumber was impressed with the quality. my only complaint is that it doesn't move back and forth easily. it is very steep. I've only had it for a month so maybe it will loosen up over time. i would buy it again as i find the stiffness manageable and the size excellent.

Needed replacement parts immediately..
the faucet was leaking from the top and bottom of the stem. I called customer service and the woman immediately knew what the problem was and which parts to send in. (She was not at all surprised that a brand new faucet had bad parts.) So a week later, after our friend put the new parts in our faucet, it stopped leaking. other than that i like it. but if you're expecting a brand new faucet out of the box, you might be disappointed.

Very Pleased With Faucet..
i bought this in part because i recently bought 2 american standard bathroom faucets and was impressed with the look and ease of installation. this kitchen faucet was also very easy to install. it looks great on our sink and it was a steal for the money. it still baffles me that apparently all american standard plumbing products are now made in mexico.

Nice Looking Faucet. Needed Repair After 5 Years...
the faucet is sleek and beautiful and the stainless steel finish doesn't show many water marks or fingerprints. we found the style of this faucet to be somewhat unique as most kitchen faucets these days are high arc type. we also like the one-handle lever for on/off and hot/cold...very easy to use. the faucet is delivered without the side jet shown in the photo. we were in a rush to install the faucet so we didn't return it and weren't really interested in the side jet anyway. we bought two from a local plumbing store before ordering them on bath1 and they were badly noticed and could not be cleaned. the rep wasn't sure what was causing the problem but got the faucet back with no problem. this one also came with a few stains but cleaned well with a bit of ss cleaner. the faucet feels a little tight when moving back and forth, but hopefully it will loosen up a bit over time. updated Oct 2017. we loved the style and ease of use of this faucet but after less than 5 years it started leaking (from the handle) and needed repair. i was quite frustrated thinking i would have to replace the faucet. a plumber advised me to contact the american standard for a spare part (cartridge). I did and they sent the part for free. it arrived in about a week. after watching a youtube video i was able to do the repair myself in about 20 minutes. i am leaving my 4 star rating because i like the look of the faucet, it works well (water flow is a bit low) and their customer service was good.
