a bit noisy. does the job.

love the size and look. cleaning is child's play. the delivery shocked the truck drivers (they didn't know what it was until we opened it for inspection) and the protective packaging was impeccable. the installation was a breeze, although I don't understand why they don't provide a wax ring, it can't be the cost as they are cheap but it adds another trip to the hardware store before you can install it. although I installed it without help, I would recommend an assistant as this toilet is heavy. i believe cadet 3 will save on water but time and next water bill will prove it. now why i didn't give it 5 stars. the self-closing lid is nice when it works and it doesn't always work without help. second, if you had a big dinner the night before, sometimes a second rinse is needed. to sum up i like the caddy 3 and i would probably buy another one if the sale price is low enough but i am now waiting for the good height price of the champion 4 a lot to come down because its a bit more expensive, but seems to be better than cadet 3.

I got it from bath1.com with free shipping. good price! the product arrived in four days. the plumber took it out of the package and it was damaged in transit. i made a return online and bath1 was so prompt they sent the return label with ups and downs to pick up the returned item the next day. within five days I had the replacement. installed it and i am very satisfied. it uses so little water and flushes so easily that it is indeed a great replacement for my 50 year old toilet, which needs 3.4 gallons of water to flush, compared to 1.3 gallons for the new one. so much for saving water. this particular model comes with a slow-closing seat cover (not all models come with one, so make sure to check for the correct product number) and it's great. overall my experience with bath1 about the replacement and the product with its features are both exuberant. i think american standard products are made in america and that is one of the reasons why i chose this product. no reservations recommend to anyone.jayaraman memphis tn

this toilet is almost as good as the one piece they offer for $200 or $300 more the value is in the toilet i bought they were very helpful in helping me get this toilet home and install it correctly i would recommend anyone with any type of previous problems get a toilet that is not short but meets ada specs

after settling for a first generation (1999) low flow toilet, i ended up buying two american standard cadet-3 compact flowise toilets. they are quieter and most importantly, they work! I love the self-closing lid and seat (if only my guests would use it!). the design is just ok, the handle has an old fashioned look to it and i don't mean that in a complementary way. this criticism is minimal. I am satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this model. I could have found cheaper models, but after the headache I had before, it wasn't worth it.
