Very nice but not for tall or wide people..
I bought this bathtub for the complete renovation of our bathroom and I am satisfied with it. it's very deep and spa-like, which is exactly what I was looking for. the slope of the back is perfect and very comfortable. i like the pressure grip and the armrests are nice but i don't use them much but it helps with the feel and look of the spa. Cons: This is not a bath for tall people. i am 5ft 3 (barely) i am of short stature and i can only put my legs straight in this bath if i sit with my back flat against the back of the bath. if I'm a little inclined my knees come out of the water. in addition, and perhaps more importantly, the base of the bath is not wide, largely because of the armrests where it is quite narrow. if I weighed 15-20 pounds more, this tub would feel very limited. it was like that for me on the first and second use but now i'm used to it and love the bath. short to reach the edge of the tub and overflow clearly so be very careful with the reach of the faucet you order. bottom line: this is a luxurious deep tub, but only for those under 5ft 5 and slim to medium weight!

Deep and Comfortable Tub for Small Space..
i made a lot of comparisons before buying this tub and found that this tub was most comfortably deep for a 5' length without being too wide for our small bathroom (5' x 10') and had a better warranty than options from other manufacturers. the price through bath1 was also better than what i could order locally. i have a young adult son with a disability and he loves to bathe but our old bath was too small not comfortable and rusted around the drain. i redecorated the bathroom to give my son a spa like experience in the small space we had and this tub is perfect for that. my son is 5'10 1/2" and weighs about 220lbs and he is comfortable in this 5' bath, so comfortable he sometimes falls asleep in it. (I also have a small wall mounted TV in the bathroom installed - outside the bath far enough that it cannot be reached from the bath - so that he can watch his favorite programs while in the bath.) in the few baths I took, I also found the bath extremely comfortable. step in the tub as my son has weakness and numbness on the left side but he really wanted a deep bath i installed a bar support on the wall just outside the tub and he has no problem getting in and out while holding the bar a lot of pain and headache and taking a bath makes him feel better he loves this bath so much that he often takes my bath several times a day (since he is sick and doesn't have many other things in life he enjoys so much , I agree to the additional use of water.) I h hired a contractor to install the tub for me (and put a waterproof barrier and cement board on the walls so it was ready to tile) and we used the universal tile bead kit for the top lip of the tub on the sides of the wall and the deep soaked drain made for this tub (also bought on bath1). I had shown the contractor the specs of the fairings I was considering (available on the manufacturer's websites) and he advised me to take the fairing option without the front apron, as we were installing the fairing in a 5 foot (full-width) space. of the bathroom) and it would be easier to place the bath between the walls without the apron. it did more work for me as I did all the tiling myself, but the tiles from the front of the tub came out nice and look so much better (like a spa) than an apron I've already done. as I tile the walls around the tub, I kept the tub covered and stood at the sides of the tub while tiling up to the ceiling. the tub is sturdy and felt solid under my weight as I walked around the top edges of it. I also had the contractor put cement under the tub to make it sturdy if it was in there. (installation instructions are included with the tub.) I also purchased the danze 8" tub spout to use with this tub as it took a longer spout to reach the rim of the tub. the danze 8" spout is the perfect length for this bath. we have been using the tub for about 8 months and the finish still looks like new. I don't use harsh cleansers but wipe it down with a microfiber cloth after showering to keep it clean and looking like new and always ready for my son's next bath. the delivery team placed the tub in my yard upon request (we weren't ready to install it when it came) and offered to take the pallet which i really appreciated given the free delivery. I am especially grateful for the kind words about my son who passed away since writing my review. he died last year but had been enjoying the tub regularly for a few years now. it's a small thing in life, a bathtub, but the things that make a difference in the quality of life are so important. it was one of those things for us. the bath is still in very good condition. I still haven't used any harsh cleaners on it, just dry it quickly with a microfiber cloth after showering and it stays clean.
