I love my new tub!..
I was so tired of a bathtub that you could only fill a foot deep. now i can really enjoy. the contractor installed it himself. it seems a bit narrower than the previous bathtub even though it is 5cm wider in total, but i think the walls are bigger to make it narrower. the finish is excellent so far.

Lub My Tub!..
this is a video review of the american standard cambridge linen left drain bathtub. (matches beige toto sedona and kohler biscuit) love this tub! it's easy on the eyes, heavier than acrylic, but easy to install (nothing a few buff contractors can't handle!) and very easy to clean. i originally wanted a cast iron tub as it keeps the water hotter than acrylic and my goal when soaking is grape fingers so i need this to keep warm. this tub does what cast iron does for less money and half the weight. (this tub weighs about 240 lbs) I was amazed that I didn't have to run water to put in more heat. comes free with bath1 prime, you can't! check for chips before installing! i had no problem: mine arrived in perfect condition and shipped very quickly with prime. we've only had it for a few months, so I can't speak to longevity at this point: but if you take good care of it and clean it well, I can't imagine not loving this tub while you're fingers are raisins before you come in!

The bathing width is barely 24" not 26" as stated..
the material is very good and solid. the tub is deeper than other tubs on the market. however, I chose this tub because of the material and the dimensions, especially the width. but when we opened it right away I noticed it didn't offer the width it promised. fairing dimensions listed online were 26" b. I measured the width from several points along the interior sidewalls, it measures only 24". very disappointing. the overall width of the tub is 2" wider than the regular tubs on the market, but it offers the same width from the inside. I'm thinking of returning it.

Great and comfortable bathtub..
I was looking for a deeper tub that would fit the old standard tub but not be acrylic. this was my choice and I'm glad I chose it. I like it because it now holds more water, yet feels sturdy like my old cast iron bathtub and it's comfortable because the back section is just the right angle to sit back and relax.

I love this tub...
it is much deeper and a little wider than the original acrylic tub that originally stood in the house. I flipped the overflow drain to get an extra inch of soaking depth. the lightweight cast iron was great for easy going upstairs for the plumber to install and keep the water hot longer. i never thought i would order a bathtub from bath1 but i'm glad i did. funny story...I first bought an acrylic bathtub from a newsagent and they accidentally shipped it to the other side and it would take me weeks to get another one. so glad it happened. we ended up with a much better product for less money. it arrived in a few days and didn't have to pay shipping! box store would charge $75 for delivery.
