Great value..
this toilet seat is very clean and fits very well. we've been looking for a replacement seat for a while but haven't found anything so far without spending a fortune. so far i am very happy. also the "soft/slow close" is great. hope it continues to work. I must admit that this chair is not as comfortable as the old one, but it looks very clean and does the job!

While this still feels like a toy (plastic) toilet seat compared to what I .....
while it still looks like a toy (plastic) toilet seat compared to what i grew up with 40 years ago, it is definitely a sturdier version of the standard plastic seat that came with the cadet toilet-3. with the original seat, if you sat on it when it was fully closed it warped a bit and felt like it wouldn't be able to support a below average weight woman like me. this version bought today does not kink and has a small tab on the seat for a more hygienic facelift.

Cleans very easily doesn't slam down...
have mostly had to replace toilet seat covers in second hand homes over the years, this time looking for a long term solution. this one had the added benefit of not snapping. lighter than masonite = don't climb on it except in an emergency! clean up is a breeze and unless abrasive cleansers or scouring pads are used it should not deteriorate over time.

Good to stop the lid slammers..
the lid closes slowly and the lid drippers stop. i expected it to loosen up after a while but it's been almost 3 years and it still works great. the color doesn't exactly match my american standard toilet - the seat/lid is more pure white, while the toilet has more of a grey/white tint.

Works good easy install and stain free..
works well, easy to install and stain-free thanks to the use of disinfecting cleaning agents. the only downside is you don't have to stand on the lid as the plastic isn't strong enough and bends. my old wooden toilet seat had no problem standing on it every now and then to access items on the bathroom shelves behind my toilet.

Not bad for a toilet seat..
when we decided to replace a toilet in our house, we didn't realize the seat was not included. Could you imagine? no seat? do toilet manufacturers expect us to use seatless toilets? so i went shopping here on bath1 and found this one. good shape good size good color. when I first took it out of the box I didn't think I would like it because the lid is plastic. I thought it would all be made of wood. after installing it i decided it was pretty neat the way it is. the soft close feature is quite nice. it just slips a bit. and my husband likes the small lip area (forgive my use of the word "lip"...don't know how else to call it) so he can easily lift the seat to do what men do when standing in front of a toilet . my only concern is whether or not it will stay put if someone sits on the closed toilet seat as it is plastic. so far it works very well. if I have any issues with this in the future I will update my review.
