Nice and quiet..
i like this kind of chairs. having a male guest means the chair will go up and down. however, once you have that toilet seat installed, you will never have to hear it. it is a fairly sturdy product, easy to clean, looks good and closes quietly.

Perfect..
I bought this for my mom to make her life a little easier when she goes to the bathroom. it fits exactly over the standard elongated toilet bowl and the easy closing mechanism is a nice luxury. it is also very durable and not cheap. the cover covers the seat making it look cleaner and nicer. would definitely buy again.

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHICH SEAT YOU ARE ORDERING..
it is an excellent toilet seat. the cleaning people broke mine and i want to replace it. the picture shown is not caddy-3.. the picture is caddy 5257.115.020 which i tried to replace. If you look at the photos on the left side of the page, you will notice that the top toilet seat photo and the two bottom toilet seat photo styles are completely different. top seat is US standard (as well as the toilet seat pictured here) is cadet 5257.115.020. the two lower left photos are of the 5350.110.020 cadet 3 extended with slow closing. this second toilet seat is the one you will receive. if you're still confused, go to the us standard site and check the model numbers.

Can't ask for much more from a toilet seat...
i was looking for a new plastic cover as we ripped the old pressed wood one. the smooth plastic is easier to clean and it's sturdy enough to sit on when closed. I also really like how they look in one piece when closed. the soft close function works well.
