Fits with little work..
i prefer an open front toilet seat and this was a direct replacement for the existing one.

Impact reducing hinges misleading..
I interpreted the impact reduction statement as soft or slow closing. not at all; it hits. the plastic mounting bolts are very stiff to fit. ok for the price.

also support my big ass. lid sinks in when sitting, but pops out right away.

Can be noisy when you stand up from sitting on it..
everything is fine except when you sit on the lid after a shower to finish your morning foot care and get up, the resulting loud noise is enough to let the whole house know you're there. the first time my husband ran to the bathroom to save me. we were both surprised

Good seat. Sturdy..
exactly what i was looking for. a special need makes up for the open end. tended to move easily so I got 4 pretty big star lock washers and put them on the top and bottom of the seat bolt and that fixed it.
