I replaced the supplied hardware with metal bolts, washers and nuts. it helped, but I still have to adjust it every now and then because of the "side-slip" problem. i will try to find stabilizers (not found on bath1) to further alleviate this problem. the seat also sticks to the skin when you stand up. (maybe I've been sitting too long. lol) I'm planning to try washable and reusable seat covers (haven't looked for them on bath1 yet).

has a slightly rectangular decorative shape instead of the standard oval. the bumper supports underneath are molded into the seat (it's all one piece) and are low, so there's very little space between the seat and the rim of the bowl. the seat is flat, not contoured for more comfort. overall the plastic is strong and sturdy and seems like a worthwhile purchase.

This is a sturdy chair and a great replacement for an original wooden chair. it arrived well packaged and undamaged. easy installation with a screwdriver. unlike other plastic chairs I've bought, it's not thin and flexible, it's strong and weighs a bit. however the caps covering the mounting screws are very flimsy and one of mine was faulty when received and will not stay in place to cover the screw. i didn't check it before install and it wasn't worth removing and returning it when i found the problem. otherwise it is an excellent choice and I recommend it.

what I like about this chair is that it is both easy to install and very easy to tighten if needed. i am a very tall person and other brands have failed in just two months. this one has spent three months and is doing very well.

As I am the caregiver of a man with dementia who always sat down to go to the bathroom, our life was complicated by covid 19 which delayed a hernia surgery in his lower abdomen. this hernia caused the intestines to enter his testicles, often making it difficult to use a standard changing table and toilet seat and too often he ended up cleaning and disinfecting the tile floor... .... more than you wanted to know. it's been 3 weeks since we installed a bigger elongated dresser and that open front toilet seat and today i mopped and mopped the floor just because it was time not because of an accident. definitely a lifesaver. good quality goes very well with the chest of drawers. wouldn't recommend stepping on that closed lid, but you shouldn't anyway. a wise purchase.
