    firm! thick metal hinge sturdy hardware. easy installation in minutes. get another one for my other bath, no more floppy and wobbly toilet seat.

    maybe i just got a bad one but some of the edges were jagged and sharp as if cut by a hobbyist or broken machine. I sent it back. given all the positive reviews it may have been a one time item but I didn't want to risk getting another copy and having to send it back. i will say it looked like it would weigh a ton.

    not stain. easy to apply (if you turn it the right way). i love that it is easy to clean and will not flake or stain.
