I finished remodeling my kitchen last month and wanted the perfect faucet to go with my sink and granite. The Delta Mateo is perfect and I love, love, love it! The "shower" sprayer stays on spray when it's docked or pulled without you having to hold
I finished remodeling my kitchen last month and wanted the perfect faucet to go with my sink and granite. The Delta Mateo is perfect and I love, love, love it! The "shower" sprayer stays on spray when it's docked or pulled without you having to hold the spray button, and is a clean spray rather than spraying all over. The stream is great too! Very pleased with Mateo Single Handle Faucet. Easy to install if you follow the instructions as written by Delta. Performance is great and I am pretty sure it will live to be Delta quality as I have their other products installed when I built my house 15 years ago. The only deduction of a point from design is due to smallness of red and blue marks indicating hot and cold which older folks need glasses to see. Love love love it!! Once it was installed a I stepped back to look at it.. I was just like wow it made my sink look open. Less cluttered. So here's the bumps but a few are to be expected on any project. You'll only need one hole. So if your going from a 3 hole system you'll need the upgraded base. Also needed 2 adapters the because the hook ups were smaller then my water lines but it was no biggy. And water lines come in a few different sizes. On a plus note the lines are long (all the better to work with), the metal weight that retracts the facet is bigger, and the spray head had a good sturdy base.
