The surface is NOT! slip resistant as described. .....
not the surface! non-slip as described. I've had a few closed conversations already. i would have returned it if i discovered it before the contractor installed it. buyer beware.

New tub in my house..
the bath is beautiful. I did the installation myself in three weekends. the tub was delivered straight to my house so I didn't have to worry about bringing it here alone. not too heavy and I used the cut sheet measurements for all my measurements. i was looking for a bigger tub to replace the old worn out tub and the american standard china tub looked the best.

Great tub retains heat very well...
very nice bath with regard to heat retention and has a simple and solid appearance. I added an expensive quality pop-up drain. the water level dropped less than an inch in about an hour and the bath also retained about 70% of the heat during that time. notice that there is a "ring" around the tub due to "shadow" in the design or something. and I was glad that the built-in anti-slip wasn't just enough sandpaper to prevent it from slipping.
