I had a much more expensive faucet that was not well-made; still new, but it had issues. I contacted my plumber to ask him which brand he recommends. It was Delta, and my last 2 apartments had basic Delta kitchen faucet as well. When the product arrived, I inspected it for metal parts. The body, underneath is brass, the spout is metal too, but the handles, and base are plastic, painted to appear like metal. This is fine the body is more important anyway. The plate that is placed on the sink is plastic. This faucet was very easy to install, and it works perfectly. The side spray looks cheap, it is all white plastic, but a better-looking black and silver one is available. The side spray connects by pushing it onto the nipple, on the body's bottom. No tool was required for this. I would like this better with more metal parts, ceramic valves, and a better looking side spray, but those items would have probably affected the price. Again, the faucet worked perfectly out of the box, and the price was very reasonable, so I'm happy with my purchase.
Originally Posted on DeltaFaucet.com
