as with all grohe products we have (and there are many), this shower head is back to work. it's a relaxing rainy shower that's calm too. i know some people have commented about the water flow restrictions negatively affecting the shower experience. I didn't notice this no matter how far I open the flow valve (or not). it is possible to adjust the mounting angle, but with the larger diameter and thin nature of the head, it will look odd if not level (in a ceiling installation). my previous 15 year old grohe head ended up with too many mineral deposits and did not have the speedclean function and i damaged it while trying to mechanically clean it. it did have an adjustable spray and I was a bit afraid of losing it. but since I use the rain shower head I don't have to adjust the spray... it is absolutely relaxing and pleasant with a diameter that covers the body well from above.

bought this with the grohe shower column; perfect size for our frame; installed a few months ago and works perfectly; these are our first grohe products and we are impressed!

i just installed this 8" grohe rain shower head to surprise my wife and she loves it. excellent shower model - nice finish. can't speak to longevity yet - but it seems to be very well made.

this is the shower you want. unbelievably great even spray coverage. full volume. it's the right one.
