I have been specifying grohe hand showers for my projects for years and this model is as excellent as any they make. five outstanding spray options impeccable water delivery and a long history of outstanding outstanding service. this one now makes my son smile every time he takes a shower. simply the best for the price of the rest.

I originally purchased the vida alegría h5+ 2.5 gpm handheld shower head with 5 spray steel hose holder (chrome) for $53 from bath1 based on excellent customer reviews. I was looking for a handheld with a nice spray for the shower, a rainy spray for washing dogs and a hard massager. i first had to remove the restrictor i made with my dremel by digging it out. it worked well but the massage was not hard enough for my taste. so i ordered the movario which my local shower store told me was the rolls royce of shower heads. however my local store couldn't order it for me because they said it was illegal to sell in california. so i ordered it from bath1 where they shipped it to me in california. i used it with restrictors at first and it was fine but the massage was not hard enough. then I removed the harder core restrictor from the two. it was easy to pull out with tweezers. no dremel needed. I put back the white cigarette lighter limiter. he is perfect! the massage is just the right amount of hard. the rain is perfect for the dog and the shower spray is lovely and I also like to have some rain melt into the spray which is a nice feeling. it's the rolls royce of shower heads. if you want a powerful massage, this is the shower head for you. our water pressure isn't great. † † it's a bit in the middle of the road but with that shower head it was great. my husband and i strongly prefer this over the vida alegria we originally bought. we will pass this one on to the high school student who will love it and we will keep the rolls royce! you really do get what you pay for with the movario. if you live in california, hurry and order it before bath1 realizes they aren't allowed to ship it to us!

I bought this to replace an expensive delta handheld shower head that was only 1.75 years old. one of the three buttons that control the spray pattern stuck, interfering with my favorite spray pattern. this grohe model, while not cheap, is much better than the delta i had to replace and well worth the cost. the replacement process couldn't be easier. loosen the old screw in the new one. that is it. no tools required. I immediately appreciated the increased water pressure of this grohe - 150% more pressure than the previous shower head. I am so happy about this that there is no question of removing the rate caps. it's so heavenly! while this grohe has fewer spray patterns than the delta *claims* these are all much easier to access by simply turning the knob on the spray head rather than fiddling with knobs in different permutations. the spray patterns on this grohe model are more than enough to meet my requirements. i love everything about this shower head. it exceeds my expectations. to say I highly recommend it is an understatement.
