DoorOperation
The door uses a magnetic seal with ahandle to fasten the door and a rubber strip with a seal. The followinginstructions provide details on how to ensure that the proper seal is achievedand on the use of the door handle. Correct door operation will prevent anywater leakage.
- This bathtub uses a magnetic seal onthe door that can pinch your fingers. The magnetic door is perfectly safe, butmay affect an electronic health device, such as a pacemaker, if either the edgeof the door or the inside of the door frame comes into direct contact with theimmediate area of the device.
- The door opens to the inside of thebathtub. Use the handle to fasten the door to reinforce correct closure. Themagnetic strip along the edge of the door and the inside edge of the door frameis unseen, and ensures a correct seal.
- The rubber strip with a seal willprevent leakage and provide a visual check before filling the bathtub withwater (see illustrations to the right).
WhirlpoolDirection and Flow
Direction - All Jacuzzi jets, exceptthe rotating neck jets, can be directionally adjusted. To change the directionof the water flow, swivel the jet nozzle to the desired angle. The jets can bedirected individually toward any location on your body to provide a hydromassage. The jets can also be adjusted so that they all point in the samedirection (clockwise or counterclockwise) to circulate the water in a circularmotion around the bath, causing a total whirlpool effect.
- Water Force - Most Jacuzzi jets aredesigned for flow adjustment. For robust action, increase the force of the flowby rotating the nozzle, or face, to the left (counterclockwise). For a gentlereffect, or to close off the jet, rotate the nozzle, or face, to the right(clockwise).
- Closing one or more jets can increasethe water force in the remaining jets.
- The rotating neck jets, and someAccuPro jets, cannot be adjusted for water force.
- Never run the whirlpool system withall the jets closed.

CleanUp
To avoid dulling and scratching thesurface of the bathtub, never use abrasive cleaners. For most soiled surfaces, a mild liquid detergent and warm water is sufficient. The following is alsorecommended:
- Remove spilled plaster with a wood orplastic edge. Spots left by plaster or grout can be removed if lightly rubbedwith detergent on a damp cloth or sponge. Do not use metal scrapers, wirebrushes or other metal tools, as they will damage the bathtub’s surface.
- Paint, tar, or other difficult stainscan be removed with Fantastik or soapy water.
- Minor scratches which do not penetratethe color finish can be removed by lightly sanding with 600-grit wet/drysandpaper. You can restore the glossy finish to the acrylic surface of thebathtub with a special compound, Meguiar’s #10 Mirror Glaze. If that is notavailable, use automotive rubbing compound followed by an application ofautomotive paste wax.
