i am familiar with american standard products who have installed their products in the past. I was looking for a toilet with a low water consumption (1.28 gal.) that flushed on the first flush. after seeing the videos of this product on u-tube i was impressed. i bought this toilet, installed it and it works as advertised. installation was quite easy and the footprint of the toilet is only about half an inch longer and taller (good height) than the 40 year old american standard round front toilet it replaced. i also like the slow close seat. while the unit was still under warranty, the tank started to leak water into the bowl due to a faulty valve seal. the round gasket on the underside of the flap was wrinkled, causing the flap to leak. .after contact with amstd. they provided a replacement gasket for the flap. a few years later the same problem arose. after contacting amstd. to get a replacement seal i was told the seal was not available and had to buy the flapper for $21.00. the seal was probably a $2.00 coin!

compact (tank much smaller than typical 2-piece toilets) leaving a little more space between the side wall and the sink in the bathroom. the only funny thing is that when you press the flush lever and immediately release it, the valve valve in the tank shuts off the flush water immediately. if you need a stronger rinse, hold the lever for a few more seconds.

the truck driver was b=very professional, he delivered when he needed. in perfect state. i also saved a lot of $$$ as bath1 was by far the cheapest. installation was easy. being a very efficient toilet it uses less water so needs to be cleaned a bit more often but thats what it is.

the unit is a piece that has a positive and a negative. very good design works great. 93 pounds. better to have a really strong man :p. or two if you have room to put it. installation was simple and straightforward. my family is made up of tall people, it's a relief for my knees. † looking awesome!
