works well. very easy installation and nice finish.

Royal Flush for everyone seated on this throne!..
love! hated the round toilet we replaced it with… 17 was too long to 'suffer'. easy to clean beautiful appearance excellent height love it effective. not the cheapest but i wanted very good quality. understood! I had to call a plumber because the old supply line was interfering with the rear support structure of this unit. i was hoping to install it myself and not hire a plumber or the cost to install it.

Sleek and beautiful. Install was no trouble..
great toilet!!!! this is a tall toilet that works for my family as we are all tall, the sleek looking installation was easy. the original reviews said installation would be tricky...never experienced it. I liked it so much I ordered two more for my kid's bathroom.

Great Toilet But Tricky Install!..
I bought this toilet to replace a 30+ year old gerber toilet that uses 4 gallons per flush. the toilet arrived a bit battered in a big box but surprisingly the toilet and seat were undamaged. i highly recommend opening the box and examining the toilet before doing anything. here comes the disappointment though, be warned, these toilets are not just one piece, they are heavy and hard to align the bolts. I don't see how an average person could install it because although you can lift it it's hard to see the holes to align the bolts. make sure you have a good flashlight or several flashlights so you can see the bolts in the small holes. make sure the toilet sits (flat) on the wax ring otherwise it will push the wax ring into the drain hole as it goes down one side before the other! this happened on my first try and i had to pull out the toilet and remove the wax ring and get a new wax ring and reapply. toilet water stop does not interfere! my shut-off valve came off the wall and protruded like 5 inches (including the valve knob) so I had to cut 3 inches and replace the valve so it wouldn't hit the toilet. finally, the toilet seat is a big disappointment as the hidden hatch blocks the area under the rim of the toilet bowl meaning you can't use toilet seats that use clips under the bolt. instead, when installing the included toilet seat, the rubber screw fasteners that hold the seat to the toilet sometimes loosen and slip. so the toilet seat wobbles left and right and it is annoying to readjust the toilet seat to rest evenly. pluses: + shipping is good and the toilet is packed in one box in another box with good packing material. modern.+ the toilet seems smaller than my 30 year old gerber 2 piece toilet.+ both flush powerfully. the small flush takes about 27 seconds to stop filling. the biggest flush lasts about 37 seconds. + the flush buttons on the top work well and are adjustable. Cons: - installation is super difficult (and I'm not talking about difficult, but rather frustrating). 2 people would be better. - both rinses are not silent. - the hidden siphon can be a problem if your valve hits it. - the toilet seat sucks and with the hidden siphon you can't use bolted toilet seats using fasteners underneath. - the price. if i could go back in time i would rather have a american champion 2034.014.020 4 one piece. it doesn't look as nice, but it's easier to install with a 4 inch flush valve (boulevard has 3 inch) and you can use just about any toilet seat without any problem. ***update June 22, 2015*** I called US standard customer service and they sent me a new toilet seat. I will update my review when it is in.
