This faucet looks great but to be honest I do not care for the way it functions. The water temperature is hard to dial in so I flicked the switch so we don't scold ourselves when washing dishes. It limits the amount of hot water that passes the fauce
This faucet looks great but to be honest I do not care for the way it functions. The water temperature is hard to dial in so I flicked the switch so we don't scold ourselves when washing dishes. It limits the amount of hot water that passes the faucet. The other things I do not like are when shutting the water, if you do not make sure it is shut it is very easy to leave it dripping or slightly on, not easy to dial in the actual off position. The other issue is the pressure that the water comes out of the faucet on both setting, way too hard for me, the water splashed all over the place when it hit the dishes or items I am washing. Our faucet has been installed for about three years and for the last six months, we have had problems with ensuring that the faucet is turned off and not dripping. I have resucured the base mount with a basin wrench as the supplied plastic tool is to short to apply adequate torque on the nut with a deep sink. I also tightened the water control handle as it has tended to loosen over time. Making sure these are secure is essential to making sure the faucet doesn't drip, but we still have problems with the faucet dripping. I specifically wanted a Delta faucet and really liked the design and features of this one. But wow--the water is far too forceful on the spray setting. Not only that, it's uneven, with some of the holes having only a trickle of water while others have an extremely strong stream. (See attached photo.) I shouldn't have to get stressed out every time I do dishes!
