spectacular. diagram included for steps "cory" listed to remove flow inhibitor. should definitely be removed in my opinion if you have a professional kitchen. the flow restrictor is located in the pipe where it connects to the faucet body, it can be removed. see below maded part 64689

LOVE this faucet. Way better than Kohler...
Full Disclosure: I didn't buy this from bath1 just because we were in a rush to make a mistake with our originally purchased faucet and we have a huge plumbing store near us. we originally bought a kohler simple chrome semi professional faucet but when it was installed there was no water pressure. just to be clear, this problem isn't ours, it was definitely the faucet. we've learned, as you'll read in many of these reviews, that faucet manufacturers install multiple water-reducing parts in faucets and that kohler doesn't give you a helpful guide on where to manually remove them. to give you some perspective, the kohler simplice filled just over a pint of water in 45 seconds. unacceptable. we have improved significantly with this grohe k7. after reading the reviews on here i easily removed the yellow restrictor for installation with needle nose pliers and the water pressure is great. i only removed the yellow part at the base of the coil/pipe compared to the second other people mentioned. it probably depends on the water pressure in your place, but like i said, ours is usually excellent. there is a step by step in someone else's review that i found very helpful. we love this faucet and can't recommend it highly enough!

Steps to fix low pressure..
very nice modern design and solidly made. the main reason I am posting this review is to share information for people who have issues with low pressure. as another poster mentioned, there are two versions of this faucet, a normal and a low flow. as i learned when i called grohe the only difference is that the low flow version includes an extra insert. if you delete it you will have the normal version. it is very easy to do. surprisingly he had no idea when I reported the extremely low pressure to the plumber who installed it for me; he was just looking for an inhibitor in the mouthpiece (there's one too, but removing it didn't seem to do much for us). here are the steps i used: the goal is to remove the yellow insert located in the area where the hose connects to the main body of the faucet. lift the coil around the hose to access the top of the faucet body. I am referring here to the part of the faucet body that extends above the arm to hold the nozzle. you don't have to go to the area around the handle.2. above the arm that holds the mouthpiece is a cylindrical piece about 15 cm long with a nut at the top. Strictly speaking this nut is covered by the coil in normal use, but I recommend wrapping a towel or similar around the nut to avoid scratching and unscrewing this nut with vices.3. once the nut is loosened, lift up the plastic sleeve. you now have easy access to where the hose is connected to the main body.4. grab the end of the hose inserted into the body and gently pull it out. it's not bolted on or anything so pull until it comes out (the nut you already removed will hold it in place). look in the end of the pipe. if you see a bright yellow ring, it's a current limiter that you need to remove. I removed it with needle nose pliers and a screwdriver. this approach broke the yellow inhibitor so you need another method if you don't want to do this.6. reverse all steps. push the hose back into the housing slide the plastic sleeve down slide the nut down and rotate the coil back to its original position.7. enjoy plenty of water pressure! it is actually a bit too high for me now, but I can easily adjust that with the shut-off valves in the cabinet under the sink.

I love this faucet!..
I am so happy with this faucet. I apparently researched for days before deciding on this faucet, based largely on other solid reviews. it is beautifully well made and works perfectly. it looks great in our new kitchen. couldn't be happier with the product.
