nice tub..
i needed a new bath for my toilet. but I didn't want a cheap one and needed one about the same size as my old one. it fit the bill perfectly. I like the adjustable legs and wanted one that didn't have the holes for the faucet. my house is older and the tap is already connected to the wall. so it's a great one. I may have been lucky. i received mine without any damage and the outer box was perfect and the inside had a lot of hard packaging. so it's perfect. i dont think its lucky to get a good one i just prayed and the lord answered my prayer to send a good one. praise the Lord.

Wonderful laundry tub but arrived with damaged areas - a chronic problem that is to be expected given its negligent packing..
almost everything I wanted in a washtub - deep solid material in the center of the drain hole. buyers need to drill holes for faucet (tap is not included). the washtub has a bright yellow sign in black block letters that reads "tap holes should be drilled with a hole saw. recessed viewfinders should not be used as 'knock outs'!" these notches are difficult to distinguish. my bathtub arrived with damage, but the damage was cosmetic, not structural. i love it because i may not have more luck with a replacement shipping and my box had the legs too. I think manufacturers should rethink their packaging as the tub is placed in a double wall box with no padding or padding - not even in a plastic bag around it. photos show the shipping box as it arrived - please note any dust and particles from the shipping journey and damage. it's no wonder bathtubs arrive damaged. i think i should get a discount for keeping the tub and not returning it...

Shoddy legs..
mine came with minimal damage. some scratches on the bottom and side that will never be visible. the reason I'm giving this 3 stars is the legs. they are meant to be hammered into place. the instructions don't explain very well how to set them up either. it should clearly say "don't let the gap be larger than 1/8" because if you do that the legs will start to tilt inward and you won't be able to remove those legs to fix it! the way it is now is presented makes the space look like it shouldn't be larger than 1/8". update: ok i had to upgrade it to 4 stars. I still think the leg design is bad but it didn't really affect the performance. I have large aquariums and it makes changing the water a lot easier.

Less Than Impressed..
I am less than impressed with this tub. I replaced a double concrete sink at my mother's house with this appliance. I have a similar wall unit in my house and it has been running flawlessly for 38 years. so naturally I turned to a must have. the good: I know from experience that durastone holds up well. the bad: packaging: my device was chipped on the top back flange. it was a small chip and the piece was in the box. so i'm going to get it. it's a washtub, who cares? yet you still paid a lot of money for this thing, it shouldn't be damaged. looking at the cheap box used by mustee with no corner protection, I'm surprised there wasn't more damage. a few pieces of Styrofoam or extra folded cardboard is not that expensive after all. design: my unit does not have the recessed area on the back shelf where the faucet mounts as shown in the photo. it's flat and it seems to me that any mud that builds up in that area will run down the sides onto the floor just as much as it would into the sink. the unit does not give a sense of stability to gibraltar rock. with the plastic feet, the sink seems flimsy compared to my wall cabinet. the installation instructions also say to anchor only the front legs to the floor. I did this and noticed that the sink would always tilt forward if I leaned on the front before connecting the plumbing. I installed rigid copper overhead lines on a top mounted crane so the tipping problem was gone. however, if you were to install the sink with flexible hose for the faucet connections, I'd imagine tipping would still be a factor. afterwards I would anchor both the hind legs and the front. Leakage: The bottom surface of the drain that fits against the tailpiece was very rough on my device. I couldn't stop the tailpiece from leaking. I solved the problem with a thick soft rubber ring from home depot. overall my experience with this tub was less than great. I don't believe this bath will be trouble free for the next 38 years.

Very nice sink would definitely recommend instead of a box store sink..
we shopped at all three major box stores and then found this sink. it is definitely a higher quality than any others we have found. yes it is a bit more expensive than some but it is worth it. it is solid of excellent design and very functional. the drain is sloped and works perfectly. you have to drill holes for the faucet. i recommend the american standard 2475.540.002 colony double soft grip. this is a great faucet. you will see other sinks listed with drainage issues and the legs coming loose. this sink has none of these issues and works perfectly. I would definitely buy again.

I'm very happy I found this at amazon..
this is an attractive, well-built sink—much nicer than the flimsy, ugly $100 unit sold at that big store with the orange logo. i am so glad i found this on bath1. my plumber even congratulated me on finding a quality sink! by the way, the american standard faucet that bath1 has for about $35 (model 2475.550.002) is much nicer than the cheap models from the store - it's very sturdy and runs smoothly. I am very happy with this purchase!
