the box was quite damaged when this item arrived, so I immediately opened it to make sure all hardware and parts for installation and assembly were in place. luckily all hardware was sealed in a plastic bag with the zippered side panels/spacers. however, I quickly realized that the two panels were identical and both were labeled on the left. contacted mustee bath1 provided the phone number after trying to contact the company after hours. as they were out of stock for an exchange, which would have been difficult anyway given the condition of the box, the agent gave me his phone number. I contacted the company the next day. the operator didn't even transfer my call. she took the information about the model the missing part and my address. I got a new bag the next day with all the stuff. it was easy. we replace a must-have double washtub on legs with this single bathroom wall unit. otherwise the dimensions and material configuration of the bathtub are the same. the only complaint we had with the old one was the space the double took up and the hard to clean legs. have the retaining wall installed while you wait for the plumber to move the water pipes. the final installation seems simple; the instructions are clear.

i replaced the original el mustee model 19 uilatub which came with 2 holes in the aft deck or mounting deck for the crane. the one I ordered showed the same design with 2 holes in the mounting deck pictured on the bath1 website. what I received had 3 holes - it wouldn't work for the customer so had to send it back and find a similar uilatub so the customer's faucet would fit properly without having to plug a hole. an 18w model worked and fit the customer's existing faucet, but I had to eat up the extra time it took to get the wrong utilatub ready for installation and return it to an bath1 drop-off location.

the product arrived on time and I was satisfied with it. i replace the same tub but with a lot of wear. the current tub was used to clean brushes and rollers as well as many other things that made it look dirty and stained. the faucet needs to be replaced so I decided to replace both the faucet and tub. the dimensions on the new bath are slightly smaller than the old one and unfortunately have three holes cut out. we put in a tall single lever faucet (single hole) but we need to buy a cover plate to cover the extra holes so im waiting for that now so i can do the installation. everything works for me.

I bought this to place a sink in our laundry room during a renovation. we didn't want to have legs on the floor that would make the tub look like an afterthought. since this was a complete remodel I was able to fit a 2x12 behind the drywall to create a secure mounting surface for the sink. the only aspect I haven't considered is the bottom mounting brackets. if you plan to mount it to the wall and want to make it as secure as possible, keep in mind that the top mounting bracket will hold the top, but the bottom will still need a place to screw down. the included hollow wall anchors work fine but it would have been better to have some wood to screw into. to use it you will need to buy the separate mounting bracket kit unless something has changed and it now comes with the tub. I could buy one from the local visitor center but it would have been better to buy it as a complete set. the tub worked fine, but if you plan on installing it yourself, keep in mind that you'll need a sink drain kit with rubber gaskets to seal the gasket at the bottom of the tub.
