Five Stars..
installed on my sunken tub and enjoying the extra depth of the soak.

Not sure if the recommendation from Am Std was correct..
this drain was the one recommended for the bathtub model I bought, but the installation doesn't seem quite right; the top drain cover (inside the tub) is a flat rim, while the tub surface is curved behind it. this gives the impression that the drain has been retrofitted. i like the pop up drain plug. this fixture eliminates the handle that usually gets covered in mineral deposits in a hard water area like ours.

but it is made for the tub and looks great. Allows tub to fill up high enough for .....
yes it is plastic but it is made for the bath and looks great. let the tub fill high enough to soak.

Deep baths!..
it is easy to install and works well. the pipes are plastic but seem ok.

fits the bill..
good solid product. the only concern and it's a bit that the drain cover has to be pushed down to stop the water from flowing out. when you open it, the drain cover will straighten a little and it may cause injury. you would have to click it with your toe to cause it.
