    This faucet replaced an older Delta faucet that we liked very much, but corroded out due to acid water.Unfortunately, the new 440-DST is not as good as the old one.Using the handle, it has a very narrow band of adjustment for temperature. Slightly too far to the left and you get scalded, slightly to far to the right and it's freezing cold. The smallest movement of the handle produces a drastic change in the temperatureTo turn off flow, handle has to be depressed exactly in the center position or it continues to drip, necessitating a return trip to the faucet to re-adjust the handle to center.While the new unit may not corrode like the old one, it is much harder to operate properly and wastes time for the user.Positive things: Spout swivels back and forth much easier, and spray nozzle hose seems more flexible.<p><small>Originally Posted on DeltaFaucet.com</small></p>

    I like the design but as soon it was installed a drip formed on the spout. A month later it still hasn't turned into a real drip, the drop just hangs there, but suggests it will soon be leaking. Disappointed because I do like the design.<p><small>Ori
