The very best German designed Tub Spout...
the average installer may find it difficult to install because the product is made with precision.

Shiny and heavy..
lowes home depot and like carrying plastic. This spout is made of pure brass and coated with polished chrome. great weight and quality. I was very happy with the end result and this mouthpiece was one of them.

Great looking spout will need special pipe end..
I bought this to replace my existing grohe valve. all i had to do was take the old one out and put it on. however, keep in mind that this spout requires a special hose connection. I was lucky as my old spout is from the same company so there was no need to install this fitting. I don't know where to get it as it was not in my box for this product. take note.

Love It!..
i was hesitant to pay that much for my grohe gear but i am so glad i chose it. every piece I have bought is beautiful. the shape and color are absolutely gorgeous. the fixtures are actually metal and not the plastic that so many other brands sell. my contractor said he liked grohe for its quality and ease of installation. I am super happy with my purchase. you too.

Can't fault the quality of construction; product support sucks..
why do we write reviews? we love the product and want to share or we hate the product and we want to share. what if we like the product, but the customer service (grohe) forces us to write a bad review? contacted grohe to find out how long the 1/2" npt quick coupler (to determine how long the supply hose should be). the usual long wait times (phone or chat) but we can answer you. site they check helps. i was told the connector was 1". no, it's 1.75". customer service quoted the mounting drawing as inaccurate...the drawing looks like 1" and flush with the wall. to equalize the rosette, the npt end of the connector must protrude into the wall so that the supply line is in the wall (approximately 1/2" from the tile surface). brass nipple... .wait for shorter nipple delivery grohe fails in documentation and proper response from customer. third party supplier did their part and delivered the goods. after tightening the 1-1/8" nipple from long, it just exceeded the 15/16" minimum of the wall requirement ( the 1-1/2" nipple was too long). what's nice about the design is that unlike a true npt connection the nozzle allows you to strain for leaks but the spout end position mounts flush without worrying about screwing in of a bath spout and pointing it to the side when it is engaged.
