update (05/07/21): the deflection lever and its parts have fallen off. must somehow have been unscrewed little by little. I don't know how it works. help me! it is beautiful when the water is out. but when I turn it on, the water comes out in many separate streams and directions. it doesn't run smoothly and that's a bit disappointing. the conversion worked beautifully and easily.

it only took me about 10 minutes to install this slip spout even though i had a threaded brass fitting on the stub end. I just used my brass pipe cutter to remove the threaded portion, leaving about 2.5" through the wall (the second photo is the part I cut). between the wall and the spout.

bought this as part of our bathroom remodel. I was a little apprehensive but it turned out to be great. i had a cheap plastic mouthpiece and was really surprised when it arrived. It is heavy! The picture really doesn't do it justice, it's really great. the installation was quite easy, although I had to shorten the copper tube a bit as it was longer than the recommended instructions. we liked this one so much we bought one with no diverter for our master bath.

it's a real deal. This very stylish chrome bath spout arrived in perfect condition, excellent finish and quality of this metal bath spout. does not leak when you pull up the shower diverter. the flow from the spout is even and around the circumference of the lower spout. this model fits 1/2 copper tubing. I had absolutely no problem removing a 20 year old mouthpiece and replacing it with this. i don't understand all the negative reviews. maybe some people are not handy enough to install it? this spout is way better than anything you can buy at a major home improvement center or even major brands, most of which are metal clad plastic. if you want something cool and will probably last 40 years get this spout.
