great product buy without thinking twice..
another great product from grohe, very well built. arrived on time in excellent packaging. price - excellent you get a very well made part for the 4th price in hansgrohe axor line with the same quality as the most comprehensive brand. no moving parts 0 plastic parts - everything a german shower system should be - the Best. very happy with the fact that it is sold without a vuelve part, it allows me to send the item abroad where the tax has to be paid on purchases over 200 usd. this also allows the part to be replaced in a few years without breaking the wall and removing the vuelve (in case I want to change the side piece or its components, like a new rain shower head at a low cost compared to a new all unit kit included) or buy and change just the vuelve (if god forbid something goes wrong) for the price of the vuelve alone. i would definitely buy again in my 2nd bathroom when the time is right and a renovation is needed.

Nice but a cheap feel..
very good device for the money. I used mine in one of my rentals; it looks sleek and a very modern big name (grohe) but a bit cheap. i would use it again for anything that needs updating for 5-8 years; otherwise i would upgrade and spend more.

Affordable Grohe but not for everyone...
affordable for grohe fixtures but keep in mind they are not made in germany except for the shower head. installed it looks good but one quirk is the tub spout is quite long so every time you finish shower the shower head runs a little water and noisy. the solution is to extend the outlet of the shower head so that it protrudes from the spout. aesthetically it's nice, but I'm used to pulling the handle instead of twisting it. my brain is wired to pull levers with a hole in them. the other thing i like that is different is that the runout diverter works by not pressing the usual pull. finally my contractor installed the test handle so it is now fairly centered so it is at "11:50" in the stop position of your will. watch out for proper installation. you probably want a long shower head outlet to avoid constant water dripping over the really nice and modern spout. the shower head works well but personally I don't think the two positions are very different but it is kind of like a rain shower. generally good value for money to get grohe but think carefully about form vs function.

Good trim kit but flat tub filler spout is not ideal..
all in all a good finishing kit from grohe. I didn't realize it until it was installed and tested, but the flat tub spout design means there will be water on it and will create large water spots on the chrome. I don't want to have to wipe it off after every shower so I'll probably replace it with a rounder one. the kit includes a small orange plastic insert to reduce pressure and flow to the shower head. I recommend leaving it out as without this piece the flow is always below average and unless you have someone in the household who insists on showering for more than 10 minutes the difference in consumable water will be negligible.
