Quality shower head..
we are renovating our main bathroom but due to covid things have been postponed for a while. so i installed it in the guest bathroom for now. it's still nice to have the rain shower type even if it's lower and sticking out of the wall, but my recommendation would be to stretch the arm out. this way he can shower more at a downward angle. i have very good water pressure and the rain setting was good and with my head tilted it was fine and i had no problem getting completely under the spray. so even if you want to keep it steep at an angle you can. i tried all the settings and liked them all except the middle one. it was like turning on the tap and water came out. maybe it would be better if I straightened my arm and he fell straighter. because I used the stock arm that sticks out of the wall it instantly overflows and I don't know which is good for people who would keep their heads so steep. it is of course very beautiful. again if you tilted it steep you will see more of the bottom than the side which is the nice part. it feels solid and well made. it was very easy to install. literally a minute. when we can finally finish our master (have people to work on it) it will move from our guest bath to the mast bath and fit better. I'll have to touch it up if it's more centered and not straight off the wall. but I still really like this shower head. I can't wait for it to be in place!

Nice But Pricey..
this shower head from grohe is nice but i'm not sure it's $177.10 (the price of this review) and i just think it's a bit overpriced. it's funny with grohe, they make great accessories for your bathroom, but the prices (in my opinion) don't always match the product you receive. they are generally priced higher than pfister moen american standard and delta, all major quality brands popular here in the united states. grohe a german company is sold worldwide, but is not well known here. I think that's because you won't find them in the big box stores (they are sold at home, but you won't find $200 shower heads at balmart). Grohe is sold in every bathroom and kitchen showroom across the country, but this is a select market of buyers. like other grohe products it's made of plastic (a big deal for some when they see the price), but made that way to save weight. I have several grohe products in two bathrooms in my house, plastic is not a problem and has no effect on the performance of their products. it has a 6 1/4" face has 4 spray patterns and a dial on the face that rotates to select your pattern. easy to use and change the spray pattern while the shower is running no problem it says it "requires rain shower arm and flange" but I fitted it to a shower diverter when I had some plumbing to finish and it fits a standard shower arm and onto the diverter without any problem. this has a great country look and goes well with our master bath. they have shower heads that cost over $500 and they are extremely nice but they all seem high priced then the value is there or it is not as there are very few products i have seen (personally) that haven't had the value compared to the price but this is one of those items I think the price is just high because it has the name grohe on it please don't get this wrong grohe is a quality product t from start to finish, it's just a rare opportunity. i don't see value relative to price (as in this case) and in this covid economy it can be hard to sell here in usa. I'm barely in the 100' yacht tax bracket and neither are my friends. i showed it to each of them, no one said they would pay the asking price, but no one knew grohe's name or his reputation for high quality fixtures. for the everyday joe (aka joe and jane to my friends) this can be a tough sell. i've had it installed for about two months now and it still works like new even with my horribly filtered city water (funny that you think you live on the edge of a state forest in a small mountain village with cool streams and rivers that we would have great tap water (no, we have overpriced water that leaves white marks on all fixtures that are nearly impossible to remove.) made by grohe, it would be hard to find anything other than price.

Oil rubbed plastic?..
I think they should describe this as "the look of oil rubbed bronze" as it is clearly plastic. pricey for the plastic, but I used it anyway and I'm happy with the shower head overall.

Great design..
i bought this almost a year ago, it's a great design and still looks great. but i wish it had better spray patterns. i would buy it anyway but if i ever had to replace the shower head i would pick one with more than 4 spray patterns.
