this rain shower head is very high quality compared to other brands. everything is metal, solid and well made. will buy again as the price is excellent for quite a large rain shower head.

ok i realize i just got it today with the grohe 27 217 000 rainshower 6 inch starlight chrome ceiling shower arm and i just put it on. german genius. a few years ago I promised myself that I would pay that little bit extra and of course get the best plumbing I could get at a reasonable price. thanks to bath1 and grohe I was able to equip my bathroom and kitchen with all grohe products. the water falls soft and beautiful... can't wait to use it tonight. for some reason i thought the shower head would outgrow the diameter of the shower head itself and was afraid it would hit a window in my shower but it wont if someone is in the way. maybe all rain shower heads work like this; water comes straight from the shower head no matter how much water you have. it was a pleasant surprise. so if you're planning on buying new bathroom or kitchen appliances, spend some extra cash (especially here on bath1 you can get grohe products at a bargain price). Grohe's products are solid German engineering and your friends will be impressed for little more than the trash at home. thanks bath1 and thanks grohe. oh one more thing... in the past i have had to replace a few parts on other grohe fixtures and grohe customer service is great. they never asked me questions and always sent free and hassle free replacement parts. this is one of the main reasons i will always buy grohe products.

the price is certainly high, but much lower than ours. i am willing to pay for the quality of grohe products and i hope the products will last for years to come. the first use upset me with low water pressure. to fix the problem and increase the water pressure, i removed the water restrictor from the shower head and the problem was solved.

for the price of this and the supposed quality of the grohe brand, it was disappointing to feel the slight "plastic" feel of this. it works as it should but it doesn't inspire confidence that it will last and if you look closely you can tell the difference between something solid brass with a chrome finish and what is clearly mostly plastic with a chrome finish. if you are going for a high end look I would recommend another brand.

it's supposed to be like showering in the rain, but I don't remember it raining so regularly. and heavy rain isn't necessarily fun either, which is more like a tickling sensation. but this shower head gives a nice steady flow and is soothing. it's not the biggest rain head, it's more like a concentrated cartoon cloud hovering over your head.

I have ordered many products from bath1. I don't remember writing many reviews (if any). however this shower head made me crave. before receiving this item I tried a few options at local big box stores. they were all manufacturers of brand faucet/shower heads and they were all cheap plastic and mostly leaking. maybe I didn't invest as much as I should have but there were no "high end" choices to be seen. luckily annoyed I tried this one. it's the only people! search no further. lovely soft rain shower. no leaks. modern look. extremely happy.
