we recently moved to a loft and the shower is huge and has 2 heads, one fixed and one portable. both were older and cheap and I wanted to replace them with something better. for the fixed head I went looking for a rain shower head and quickly settled on the grohe which is all metal. i got cheap plastic and expect to live here for a while so i was ok with paying more for the quality. my wife wasn't thrilled with the idea (she uses the fixed head more than I do, I prefer the handheld) and she wasn't thrilled with the price. i assured her she would love it and after it came and i put it on she admitted it was excellent. smooth water flow perfect finish weight easy to clean and a nice rain shower head. she loves him and i love that she loves him. yes it costs a lot of money. quality tends to do that with prices. but I expect it to last a long time and we won't have any problems with it like with a cheap plastic version.

my wife and I fell in love with a rain shower head at a resort we vacationed at earlier this year and were determined to recreate the experience in our master bathroom. they used a grohe shower head but i was hesitant due to the cost and tried a few other options from bath1. the results? not so good. off-brand rain shower heads just didn't work - either the flow was weak or the pattern didn't resemble a rain shower at all. I finally got wise and ordered this grohe shower head. was it expensive? Yes. it was also heavy enough that I had to spend more money on a stand. but oh my - the difference in performance is like night and day. this shower head from grohe is absolutely excellent and i highly recommend it to anyone looking for the real deal and willing to spend the extra money for it.
