ok it's just a piece of metal with an o-ring. but it looks like quality inside and out with perfect chrome plating and threads and was a lifesaver (I had to extend the shower hose outlet of an electric shower to fit the shower hose I just bought).

this little grohe adapter (1/2" x 1/2") is just great because without it i couldn't have used the shower on my new bath mixer due to the design of my modern italian design square moretti elevare bathroom mixer shower they are standing ​so close to the bath that without an adapter it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to install the shower accessory. i looked everywhere for adapters and only found 2, the grohe was the most stylish and consistent with my new taps. so if you need an adapter to fit 1/2" x 1/2" showers this is the perfect fit and I highly recommend it!

moved to a house where the fittings were too close to the wall and the shower head sprayed water over the user and out of the bath. it was the perfect solution. the pipe and fitting are vertical and flush with the wall, but the water now sprays instead of everywhere. very happy and easy to drive. †

wer auf diesen adapter stößt der hat vermutlich ein problem in seiner dusche and ahnt schon dass dieses small thing eventuell die rettung des duschvergnügens. wer trotzdem noch unsicher ist oder durch zufall hier liest für den ist der folgende text möglicherweise hilfreich.was manchem – wie auch mir – pasert: nichtsahnend orders man sich eine neue handbrause und eventuell noch a new man nerugnicht neuetiers die „knicken“ last das wasser senkrecht aus der brause laufen kann.warum senkrecht at all? die frage müssen sich eigentlich nur those couples who have a relatively small dusche (tiefe bei mir ca. 74 cm) which dann möglicherweise noch durch einen duschvorhang statt einer glastür a.o. vom rest of bades getrennt ist. spritzt nämlich unter diesen umständen das wasser schräg nach vorne statt senkrecht nach unten bleibt man selber relativ trocken das bad wird dafür umso nasser.ja und warum stellst du das thing nicht nicht undcher undeinfabbücken das bad wird dafür umso nasser.ja und warum stellt du das thing nicht nicht undcher unde ändernflachs wird. das kann so weit gehen dass er dadurch oben aus der halterung der duschstange rutscht. das passionrt aber nur wenn sich die schlauchaufnahme der halterung baulich parallel zur stange befindet (beispiel wäre z. b. von grohe die brausestange rain shower (28797001)) was aber wohl as normalfall zu betrachten ist. das problem vergrößert sich wenn man die handbrause noch etwas zur seite drehen muss weil z. b. die stange nicht in der mitte der dusche montiert ist da dann die schlauchaufnahme noch ziezätzlich Richtung wand gedreht wird.man käme auch als laie auf die Idee hier mal vorher nachzudenk wenn a) der repairer/verkäufer im sales text auf hinwürungenprechendetik en wtshungsprechdeeisen z. b. der handbrause – furügbar were. „für meine hans grohe croma 100“-brause fand ich die zeichnung leader erst später im netz – also zu dem zeitpunkt als ich das problem längst an der wand hatte. lustigerweise wird diese zeichnung mit der brause mitgeliefert. dort ist noted that the washing machine shop of the brause at 65° lies (see also photo unten). und wenn man sich das vergegenwärtigt wird einem möglicherweise clear das mit dem schlauch dann ein problem were kann wenn das wasser eben senkrecht austreten muss.die oder problems ist dieser adapter names der "selts" ). there is a shop of 30° and care that 65° austrittswinkel der handbrause so ausgeglichen that the halter (die aufnahme) der brausestange fast senkrecht stehen kann. das bedeutet dass non auch der schlauch nicht mehr abgeknickt wird without ebenfalls senkrecht after unten verläuft. problem gelöst.der hooken: there is a vergleich zu einer handbrause „sauteuer“ – allerdingen rettet er das vergnügen und passt optically wenn etwas Kantiger sein darf. vor allem muss man bei ihm nicht – who bei others adapt - mit unterlegscheiben experimentieren bis das teil passt und die brause nicht etwa nach unten und nicht zur seite strahlt weil die gewindegänge von brause und adapter in der ausrichtung perfect. grohe umgeht dieses problem durch beilegen einer sehr dicken und weichen unterlegscheibe which in dieser hinsicht sehr is flexible ist.wer that mit den 65° dem wasseraustrittswinkel und the position des adapters nicht versteht sich die einfach. ich hoffe der sinn der sache has become deutlich.

fits perfectly in the top drain of my triton tower shower and looks good too. it provided just the right downward angle to fit the multi-triton shower head I bought (all replacing the original angled shower head unit that almost gave up). the shower now works very well for a total outlay of around £35. if like me you have a tower shower and the top outlet is a horizontal 1/2 bsp male outlet then this will be fine. then simply screw a fixed (ball-joint style) shower head of your choice onto the other end. job done.

originally bought from bath1 but was missing from the box! quickly bought locally. regardless of the very good quality item that solved my shower hose connection problem and thwarted the stop trick. no leaks and perfect chrome. Strongly recommended.
