    the chrome finish is shiny and flawless and the grohe shower head "goes in the right direction" once tightened. it seems expensive for what it is, but hopefully it will last longer as it is made of thick metal and not plastic. one minor gripe is the grohe shower head which has a "cool touch" feature to avoid burning your hand when holding it. this elbow doesn't have such a cool touch feature, so it's significantly warmer than the shower head attached to it. if you like hot showers that could be a problem.
