Needs the purchase of a Chrome wall 90 for this. Love it...
the plumbers were very impressed with all my grohe parts for this shower. they said they were very good quality and it was a good brand. i like the final look and i am very satisfied. a matching chrome "wall 90" I think the plumber called it - basically a piece that hooks the end of the pipe to the wall in its own little rim. it doesn't have to be grohe, but there are grohe versions available on bath1 that will work with this. you don't really need the wall 90 with a shower head holder as the rod does the job well for holding the shower head - just one for the end of this hose to screw into the wall and hang from the hose. i was disappointed when he installed it that i didn't have all the parts in the kit he needed to get it in the wall but usually a "wall 90" is very cheap and you can even order a cheaper one from another brand in chrome and it will work with that and probably be fine. i ordered the actual grohe wall 90 thinking i already had enough money with grohe parts which is another $50 to match everything. to get to the multiple shower heads and install this kit I also needed a grohe universal rough in the box to match one of my trims, a 3 way valve diverter, and several control trims. so you are definitely increasing the total cost of your shower more than that actual shower head purchase when you choose to install it in your shower at the added cost of valve trims etc to me the cost of adding this in my shower worth it though. i like to color my hair at home and wanted a way to wash off hair colors and toners at home easily (especially in quarantine). I think the extra cost of a luxury shower will be worth it to me on salon visits over the years and the extra cost of the luxury fixtures will only add to the value of the home in the long run. i like to think of it as an investment in my house rather than investing money in building it to make me feel better. the movable shower head is also essential for toddlers. it's the easiest way to bribe them to take a shower to hold them and it's the easiest way to rinse the shampoo out of their hair. it is also great with pets. installed a grohe shower with multiple heads. the universal rough box for grohe is also very large and needed a 2" x 6" wall between my toilet and my shower to accommodate all those wall mounted shower parts instead of the planned 2" x wall 4" at the origin. so I think my best advice is to talk to a professional about it and make sure you have all the parts you need and that you have enough room in the wall for the matching parts. if you install it yourself my god you are a DIY genius. i will say i had a question about one of my trims and the grohe website for this trim they answered my question within an hour so even if you buy the part on bath1 they are very quick and helpful to help you understand their products. angle you use. I am so happy with this grohe shower that I am considering more grohe in other areas of my house. overall would recommend

Good value for designer-grade fixture solid option for price-point..
in a nutshell-------------made in germany high quality chrome interchangeable parts great shower experience made to last attractive lacks helpful installation documentation so plan to take your time (still quick installation maybe 30-60 minutes first time).overall characteristics-----------------------* this is a designer–grade option perhaps toward the low end of that tier but a definite step up from the less expensive chinese-made options with used-to-be-made-in-usa names you recognize.* this is actually a package of three grohe items that are also available separately. it is a characteristic of designer-grade fixtures to have items available separately so they can be combined flexibly to best suit the particular job. the small downside is there is not much in the way of newbie installation instructions probably because designer products tend to be installed by professionals who don't need the first-time guidance.the individual items can be found by searching on their model number on the grohewebsite (grohe.us).* handheld shower: relexa rustic - model 125870* rotaflex 69" metal shower hose - model 28025000* rainshower 24" shower bar - model 28797001interestingly the total individual-item price for the three is $286 + $191 + $110 = $ 587 so that would make this price insanely good. but i think those prices are msrp and perhaps reflect what a designer would charge you if they picked them out for you.inspection----------* this fixture is made in germany and it shows. the unit is not heavy and my initial impression was that it was "value engineered" down to a price-point. on closer inspection i've come to the conclusion that clever engineers have carefully placed the right amount of the right materials just where they are needed to produce a durable product. the shower-bar for example is thin-walled brass tubing with a solid chrome plating lined with high-grade plastic (abs i believe). the plastic provides extra strength (and doesn't corrode) and the brass provides a solid foundation for the chrome which is what produces a durable fixture. making the bar out of solid brass would make it heavier but much more expensive and no more durable (chrome plating failure would still be the failure mode).the brackets that attach the shower-bar to the wall are solid zinc and appear quite rugged. the overall unit feels very solid once mounted to the wall. i wouldn't go putting all my weight on it every time i get in or out of the shower but it takes a good pull even to get it to flex a little and it doesn't complain at all when you do.* i would imagine one could expect a 10-year lifetime from a fixture like this maybe more if you avoid abrasive cleaners and don't have very hard water.installation------------* installation is pretty quick basically you drill two holes insert anchors and screw it in place. fill the drilled holes with silicone sealer before inserting the anchors to keep any water that finds its way behind from degrading the wall and perhaps allowing pull-out of the screws (or wall tile).* the box has a drilling template printed on it so careful how you open it if you want to keep that in one piece. there's an embedded pull-tab on the left side of the box that will open it cleanly and reveal the drilling template underneath the flap.* installation instructions are a single-page exploded diagram (think ikea instructions) with no text to speak of. in fairness though detailed instructions are probably very painful to maintain in 32 languages (grohe is a global supplier) and most plumbers who would install these products wouldn't need them. i found just puzzling over the picture for ten minutes while closely inspecting the parts for differences and matching features brought me to understand it well enough to install it right the first time.the website has more product information like pdf spec sheets for planning etc. look for a link that says "download spec sheet" halfway down the page on the links above.i was also able to find a youtube video produced by grohe ("install grohe shower bar") that gives a pretty good idea what it takes even though the model isn't exactly the same. good use of 3-1/2 minutes before you dive in.* i installed this by attaching the hose to the shower arm where the previous shower head was. the hose fits right on and i was able to get it tight enough by hand with a towel for anti-slip for it to seal completely.a more elegant installation in new construction might have a separate port where on the valve/mixer where this is attached and be able to switch between this handheld and perhaps a fixed rain head or whatever. it works just fine on the shower arm and was the best option for me since i wasn't going to demolish and replace the tile wall to install new valves.summary-------overall i'm very satisfied. the ladies of the household all approve on all counts and dad didn't need to spend a whole weekend on the job. i expect it to hold up real well for a long time and allow me to attend to other things :)

I did not use the mount but the shower head is wonderful!..
the stand looks great and gives you the ability to move your head up and down but i ordered it for my upstairs bathroom where headroom and space are limited and used it to lift the shower head 8" to hold it this worked better as i am picky about my shower heads as manufacturers have had to limit the flow and struggled to find one that will rinse you in a reasonable turnaround i had used an old wp courier shower but this one saw looking bad so i ordered this grohe i also ordered a great $15 and $20 shower head from bath1 to compare this grohe to see if its really worth $300 i measured the flow rate through a 5 bucket gallon and timed it.I tested each shower head twice and averaged to account for the variable tank pressure in my well water system high hand shower pressure at 6 settings of unbelievable kr eight - $15 - 1.4 gal/min not many hard and uncomfortable jets change model has no LP. looks cheap. this head doesn't have the power of the smaller ones, but gives a decent shower if you're on a budget. 80s wp massage shower head (my old one) - 1.56 gpm gives a decent shower but was never as strong as other shower heads of the day although produced before flow restrictions were mandated. relatively cheap to buy, the chrome finish came off and the jets clogged and sprayed all around. the higher flow quality patterns (we liked 4 of the settings on the grohe vs 1 or 2 settings on the other) the spray coverage and stream quality convinced us! I have been using the grohe for over a year now and my well water jets are not clogged and it still looks like new! is this shower head worth $300? if you're a college student and eat macaroni and cheese to make ends meet, that probably isn't the case. the incredible strength of $20 is decent and only costs $20. for anyone who can afford it, even if it's really worth it! it looks good and you can rinse it off in 2 minutes because the pattern covers well and there is enough flow to get the job done. i will be looking for a grohe again when i need a new shower head!

Excellent Product..
i love high quality grohe products and their beautiful design. the installation manual only explains with diagrams; however, once you know how to install it, it's easy.
