works well but does not allow to adjust the temperature or pressure of the water, only the choice of two different types of sprays. does not have good clear and concise instructions or illustrations in the package at all. make sure that someone is familiar with this type of product, otherwise you decide to which zone the filter belongs.

excellent product although a bit pricey. the old hand shower was about 20 years old and sprayed water through a small hole. I had previously replaced the flexible metal hose with no problem. it was even easier - just unscrew the old nozzle and screw on the new one. it doesn't fit the old style perfectly, but it fits perfectly and isn't different enough to look greek. i think grohe fawcets are exceptional especially as spare parts are easy to come by. (but like I said expensive.)

it looks like the original, but keep in mind that the fitting on this new head is slightly different than the old extension pipe. this causes the fitting to leak down the neck of the faucet into the kitchen cabinet. no idea why they would do that. I solved it by wrapping the male part of the fitting (on the extension pipe) with several layers of Teflon tape. it took a few tries to stop the leak but once it was done it worked.

this puppy has been designated as the successor to the crane that belongs to the house. when this faucet creaked and leaked a lot, I searched the internet for the replacement. it was no longer available and this was given as a replacement. while it fits over the sink, the angle of the spout is far from the original and not adjustable. instead of flowing straight down, it slopes forward and the flow completely misses the bottom of the sink and runs up half the opposite wall. almost every time it is used it has to be pulled up and pointed down making it necessary to use that hand and therefore unavailable. bad show!

as far as i can tell this is an exact copy of the hand shower that originally came with my grohe 33 939 faucet. functions perfectly.

grohe makes beautiful sanitary products that are effective to use and also a feast for the eyes. † † I wish they put things together more efficiently. we didn't have all the new replaceable seals we needed and had to wait another two months for another separately ordered part to arrive. it would have been much better if the company had included all the parts needed to properly replace a broken faucet head and sold it all together in one set. which made it worse when we limped with a broken kitchen faucet. † †
