A lot of plastic for the price..
the overflow fitting and lid are made of plastic! the unit uses slip joints and the pipes are made of polystyrene. my plumber says the pipe will not stick to the stock plastic pipe and the slip joints tend to wear out and leak over time so he will only use the overflow plug and fittings

Love the ability for an extra 2”..
bought the matching tub (cambridge) from lowes to replace a very shallow tub I had for years. i love this bath! I was very interested in getting the extra five inches of water so I wanted this item to match. i was a bit concerned about the reviews as some thought the materials were of poor quality. i had professional contractors install everything and they said everything was fine. in fact, they really like click drains like this one. I haven't had it very long, but so far it works great. if anything changes I'll be back to edit the review.
