Good flush design for solid waste removal so-so bowl rinsing..
after a week, the toilet flushes the solid waste perfectly, unlike its american standard model predecessor, which had to be submerged regularly. my only complaint is that the quality of the porcelain finish on the outside is not up to what i would expect from a toilet in this price range. there are several minor imperfections in the finish. 8/1620 (updated review) after more than two months of use I can continue to report perfect success with solid waste removal and no need to dive. however, there is a problem with solid "slip marks" that remain after a few rinses. the engineers did a good job creating a powerful flush of solid waste, but not enough water remains to create a powerful flush of the bowl surface. with only 1.6 gal allowed by our omniscient regulators, there may not be enough water available to properly perform both tasks. for the above reason I am lowering my rating to three stars.
