Surprisingly comfortable..
this bath is surprisingly comfortable and spacious. it is deeper than other tubs and wider. the angle of the back where your neck rests is a natural feeling angle that makes lounging in the bath much more pleasant.

We are happy with our purchase! Family of 4..
i love this bath! plenty of room to move, shave your legs or for taller people. the tub is very deep and the back has the perfect angle for relaxing. the tub stays cold until you fill it with water/shower, but that's what you get when you buy this super high quality material. you never have to buy a bathtub again unless you just want to. this tub is also great for my mom who is a taller woman with multiple types of arthritis and other physical issues. she also has plenty of room to shave and a higher bath wall makes it easier for her to pull out. (it's still a standard length and width but a bigger/deeper tub. overall it's great for late middle aged adults or girls who like to bathe. plus it's the american standard! excellent brand

3rd time is a charm..
I had some problems ordering this bath. i was looking for a small deep bath and this was it. i looked everywhere and went to many stores but the stores sold at home depot or lowes didn't have the depth i was looking for. the first time i ordered it i received it with some tokens so i returned it. the second time i ordered the tub it arrived with some unpainted parts!!! i was determined to get the bath i wanted so i ordered it a third time. this time it's perfect. it is sturdy and comfortable. I like the depth and the anti-slip feature.

Great tub..
big bathtub much better than acrylic which most seem to be made of these days. not as heavy as cast iron so probably in the middle in terms of installation but great quality. i had the deep dive and it added several inches of water to my bathing experience. I am very satisfied with this bath at the same price as the bath ordered directly from the manufacturer and it arrived very quickly. great buy!

American Standard Cambridge Tub Review...
this bath was provided by two strong polite young men who went out of their way to place it by our front door without damaging the bath or our door. it is a beautiful bath and looks so much better than the cheap fiberglass bath we had. if you are looking for a beautiful deep bath with the look of an old-fashioned cast iron bath, then this is the bath for you. an additional advantage is that the tub weighs less than a traditional cast iron tub.

This is the tub to buy!..
when renovating my bathroom I wanted to replace an old cast iron tub from the 70's with something wider, safer and more comfortable. my alcove accepts a standard 60 inch tub but had a little extra room for a wider version so this tub fit the bill. my contractor installed it according to the instructions in the documents. sound. it looks like cast iron but is a bit lighter. it retains heat better than my old bathtub. it's as quiet as my old bath, it's even muffled like cast iron. non slip surface (bottom only) is much safer than my old tub (which was smooth) although a little harder to clean it has a sandpaper texture but is not hard on feet the rest of the tub is silky smooth and wipes clean after each use with a damp towel. i have now used it at least a dozen times nt if not more wipe it down quickly with no smearing or foam build up. I appreciate the extra water depth of this model. I am a middle aged adult (ie: not skinny) and this bath provides deep relaxation, so take a full body bath. the backrest is rounder, smoother and more comfortable than my old bathtub. you can just lie in this tub and practically fall asleep. drawbacks are rare. (1) it takes longer to fill. duh it holds more water than a standard bathtub. make sure your hot water supply can provide at least 30 gallons of hot water when mixed until warm. (2) it scratches and flakes a little easier than my old cast iron tub. my contractor left two small marks, one is a tiny chip the size of a pencil point and the other is a 1/2" scratch. possibly from dropped tools or something barely noticeable unless i point it out. he doesn't know how either it's done i am i no problem so far they are not rusted i plan to contact american standard for a repair kit it seems no modern tub is made with the same indestructible coatings as older cast iron tubs.but it seems durable enough for everyday use don't let the tools, tiles or metal parts fall into the tub during installation.don't sit on ledges with tools in your back pocket etc.american standard.I'm happy with mine.home delivery via bath1 was great they dropped it off just outside my driveway they even r tested as i opened the whole tub and inspected with a flashlight in case there was any shipping damage or major defects. mine came in 100% good condition. the box was not damaged at all. however keep in mind that the tub inside was a bit dirty which made it more difficult to inspect after opening the till. have a dry cloth handy to wipe off any dirt that might otherwise look like chips or scratches, and let them stay while you check quickly. Refusing delivery due to damage is much easier than having to send something large back later. I hope this review helps someone.
