Flush works great ! Everclean sucks !..
the flushing system is actually pretty amazing but I wish they hadn't cleaned the materials permanently, it leaves a ridge above the waterline in the bowl and it's so hard to clean as mine now leaves pretty much permanent marks.

Lid and seat get stuck together..
the toilets themselves are fine. however, the toilet lid and toilet seat are interlocking and when first installed, the lid lifts off the toilet seat very easily. over time, the alignment of the lid and seat shifts enough to wedge the lid and seat together and you have to manually separate the lid/seat, which is not nice, especially when customers ask how to put the lid/seat be served. this happened with the original cover/saddle and a replacement cover/saddle, so we are going for the #3 cover/saddle after about 2+ years. annoying.

Great Toliet Defective Seat...1/4/14 Update..
installed all the american standard products in a four bath house i built in 2002 and they were great so naturally they looked at their products when we were doing a remodel of our two bath apartment. Purchased in April 2012 as a boulevard toilet due to its contemporary appearance and strong reviews. having lived with it during this period I can say it is excellent. easy to clean due to the smooth lines, handles any amount of waste with ease and is quiet. i really like the look of the soft close seat and lid but i had a problem with it from day one. the quick release mechanism on one of the mounting posts doesn't lock into place, so the seats slide when raised and don't feel secure when you sit down. emailed the usa standard and they told me to tighten the posts which I did even though it didn't affect the locking mechanism. that didn't help at all so I emailed them again but never got a response. so on Feb 18, 2013, I sent a letter to the American Standard consumer affairs director asking him how I could get a properly functioning chair. I have also attached copies of my invoice and shipping notice. on November 14, 2013 I have not yet received a response. now the soft close seat tears near where the mounting post wont lock. I really can't imagine why there was no response. Does anyone have any suggestions what I should do now? have you come across this kind of unresponsive american standard customer service? Conclusion: Faulty seat and unresponsive customer service. Update 1/4/14: Shortly after this advice was posted, american standard contacted them and they were very helpful in finding a solution. I have now received and installed a replacement seat. no problem so far.
