Quiet efficient flush..
the rinse is very quiet and cleans the bowl completely and quickly. my husband loves "mr. mcflushy" as we call him, he made our lives better!

Needs a bracket to stabilize it...
i would have given a 5 star rating if i didn't feel like it would break if i rinsed it too hard. there should be a bracket holding it to the wall just below the flush handle as the plumbing isn't good enough to keep it from bending when flushing. you wouldn't believe how cheap the parts are that attach it to the bowl. the design of this one has to go back to the drawing board, as the shell I paired it with is also an american standard! i have been looking for some kind of bracket to stabilize the flushing mechanism but i dont know what else to call it other than this urinal stabilizer bracket but search engines will not produce a part if it is designed to do this.

Stopped Working After Nine Months..
this valve stopped working after about 9 months. it has probably been flushed less than 20 times. it still lets water through when you hold the handle down, but the big wave of water it's supposed to send doesn't happen. I took everything apart and turned the piston valve open to make sure nothing was blocking the holes or seats. but it still won't work. I hope he sends me a new piston valve under the one year warranty. i will update this review if they do. well, the US standard says they will send me a replacement piston for this valve for free. but there are 3 weeks late order. again, I'll update this review when it's in. or if not.

Things to consider...
I am writing this review to possibly help someone who has the problem I had installing this flusher. the owner installed it. I have installed dozens of sinks and shower faucets and feel very comfortable with them. this is only the second urinal I've done and the first was over twenty years ago. urinal experience goes a long way and I have little to none. that said, there is always youtube right? however, not much is posted about toilet flushes on youtube nor about this model. the setup is relatively easy, but when i finished there was a loud metallic noise at the end of the cycle. looks like it needs a bumper but i had one. I moved the hammer guard. still no success. then I accidentally flushed the fixture with the inlet flange nearly an inch past the flow stop. the clicking has stopped. I install the supply line ¾" farther from the center of the connection flange. the US standard recommends 4 ¼" to 5 ¼". I originally had it at 4 ¼". i moved it to 5". hopefully a plumber or US standard rep will answer it. here's my theory, our water pressure is very good/strong. that extra ¾" was needed because of our pressure. again these are just my thoughts and i am not a licensed plumber or technician.love to have the urinal (also american standard) and the flush water now works great.the instructions are clear and simple.a few big nuts are already attached to the fixture (I spent a few minutes looking for parts that were already attached) two suggestions go overboard when securing the tap water. it must not move! second, a large two inch plus adjustable wrench (smooth not serrated) essential not only for installation but handy for future use. I also have easy access to the back of the unit, which is a huge advantage not only for installation but also for future repairs. overall it seems like a great product for a good price. hope this helps someone.
