The 240 Volt 11.0 Kilowatt Single-Chamber Electric Tankless Water Heater can provide continuous hot water when sized appropriately. A. O. Smith's Electric Tankless water heaters only heat water when needed, leading to potential energy and utility bill savings. These models are easy to install and save valuable storage space--they can be wall mounted, using standard 1/2-in NPT water connections and do not require venting. Designed with a soft start, the electric tankless produce a soft electric draw when powering on, reducing light dimming impact. Electric tankless water heaters typically require greater electrical supply capacity than standard tank-type models. This model requires 240 volts, 45.83 amp draw, 50 amp breaker size, and #8 AWG wire size.
