Welcome back! Glad you followed on over!
An alternative to the Steel sinks showcased in our previous posting and a quite common option in the space of laundry/ utility sinks is one made from Polypropylene or other various thermoplastics! The following model we are using in this comparison is the Mustee Utilitub Model 28CF. Being that there are pros and cons to both sinks and we have created a table below for a quick overview of the strengths and weaknesses of both!
|STAINLESS STEEL||POLYPROPYLENE / THERMOPLASTIC|
|☑ Stainless Steel is highly durable!||☑ Relatively inexpensive compared to Steel sinks!|
|☑ Extremely resistant to heat!||☑ Extremely light weight!|
|☑ More chemically resistant||☑ Easily Wall-mountable|
|☑ Stain resistant||☑ Easy to stock and source|
☒CONS: Quite a bit more expensive
