We needed to raise seating height by 2 inches and this is perfect!..
we are getting older (hahaha) and didn't want to invest in a new, higher toilet so we looked for an alternative. most toilet boosters look like this in the nursing home. I found this toilet seat popped in, arrived super fast, installed (the instructions could be 100% better so that's the only negative) and it does exactly what we need. thank you!!!!!

Watch the video to make installation easy..
I used a different type of riser (a thick piece of some sort of plastic). it worked fine but to clean the underside you had to unclip it. too much work! that won't be a problem with it and it looks so much better.

Bad Knees = Higher Toilet..
after the knee surgery she did her rehabilitation religiously but still had to use the toilet in the bathroom because the tub in the bedroom was too low. I found this chair a bit tricky to install (the instruction sheet was minimal) for a non-handyman, but with study (and no internet) I figured it out and I'm done! now it stinks to our room at night and not the hallway.

Excellent toilet seat height solution for mobility issues..
my 84 year old mother in law has mobility issues and recently moved in with us. my main problem was getting the toilet where she could use it unassisted. i tried a few cheaper high chairs which all turned out to be useless. the gap was too small for some, but the main problem was instability. I couldn't strap one of them down well enough not to worry about their safety. i'm not as young as i used to be so this seat was my last hope before i paid someone to install an ada toilet. it was a miracle cure! it is a standard size chair with firm risers. aperture size is no longer an issue and the mounting is very solid. some reviewers complained about loose editing. I highly recommend getting a 9/16" deep socket (less than $5 on bath1) and a ratchet if you don't have one. the instructional video shows a wrench, but most toilets have countersunk mounting holes and a wrench would' I work.

Outstanding product. Worth every penny...
fits perfectly! well thought out product fantastic quality no flimsy plastic. stable when installed correctly. perfect height for my aging back and my tight low toilet (shame there's no bidet!). read the notes on how to easily install the device, it must be upright or else it will look like it won't fit. check all the instructions - the ones in the little hardware bag will keep you from wondering where all those "stuff" go.

Does the job..
my concern is that the seat will keep sliding no matter how far i tighten the mounting nuts. to keep the seat from shifting I have to put so much pressure on the bumpers that they start to bulge. not good. I expect the tension on the rear riser blocks will cause the risers to break over time. these buffers must be made of a more durable material than what is currently offered or must be strong. not hollow.
