** Read This Before Ordering - No Cartridge & Not for the Newer Valve 3.0 **..
first of all, all grohe products are superior. period. you will be happy. but this part number is for the handle/cover only. it is not for a new installation that requires a cartridge. ** I made this mistake myself. this is also compatible with the old valve and not with the ecosafe 3.0 valves. I wish bath1 would remove the "bath1 choice" from this kit as people (like me) assume this is the complete finishing kit. it is not. the details on the item should call it clearer.

We own vacation rentals and I purchased this for 2 .....
we have holiday homes and I bought this for 2 different houses and it was nothing but trouble. maybe it's not entirely grohe's fault but people try to lift the lever instead of turning it and it breaks. some parts that secure the handle to the inside are plastic. I've spent hundreds of dollars on plumbers repairing and eventually replacing them, not to mention all the headaches and time.

this has a premium finish (on eurostyle cosmopolitan single lever pressure valve trim). it's solid metal with a great chrome finish - i got the shiny chrome. it feels solid and moves smoothly like butter.
