Great Rain Showerhead!..
i like grohe products which are generally high quality but sometimes you get one that is sneaky and less than great. not this one! this shower head is amazing! i like the high quality construction and solid feel. it's all metal, which I expect from grohe with a classic modern finish that looks beautiful. the weight is quite heavy, giving you the assurance that it is built solidly to last! it is super easy to install and ready to use in a very short time. although it has a wider spray head for the rain shower, there is not as much pressure loss as expected. showers are softer than regular buds anyway, but this one is more soothing with pressure than most of the others I've tried.

Good..
grohe rainshower allure 230 1-jet shower head grohe starlight finish for scratch and stain-resistant surfaces for a lifetime of beauty grohe dreamspray features advanced shower motors for precise and consistent water delivery with every spray pattern for an experience unparalleled and personalized shower system grohe dropstopspeedclean anti-limescale system: removes limescale with a simple swipe of the finger to keep a performance like new. it is elegant and easy to install. the water distribution is heavenly and the spray I had no problem. i really have no complaints, also got a compliment on the look, they didn't use the shower but absolutely loved it.

My god this thing weighs a ton!..
don't even think about just replacing your standard shower head with this thing. this thing weighs a ton. I honestly think it's a huge exaggeration to use materials that weigh so much. you really need a super strong shower arm to support something like that. even then you need to make sure you also have tubes that are strong enough to support it. although it looks "premium", I personally care more about performance than the weight of anything. I really don't feel like showering in it; I prefer stronger pressure. to be honest i think they are really overpriced and there are many cheaper alternatives that work better.

Delivers a Rainfall Stream- but Make Sure to Mount Above Your Head..
it's definitely the most expensive shower head I've ever seen so I was a little skeptical if it was worth it or not. when it was delivered the first thing i noticed was how strong and heavy it was. of course, I expected this bulky item to be cumbersome and complicated to assemble. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised when it screwed onto my shower easily and was ready to use in under five minutes. it offers a pleasant rainy shower which is very relaxing. in my shower i couldn't get it where the shower head is directly above where i stand so it affects the water jet. my advice is to make sure you can mount it just above where you stand to take full advantage of this shower head. if you can't do this, in the end the water is no different from any other much cheaper shower head.

Luxurious Allure Rainshower Head..
this is a simple tweak to add rain shower experience. it's also perfect for new installations where a shower enclosure and wall work together perfectly. grohe recommends their 27 710 or 27 712 rain shower arms for matching finishes and styles. lots of consistent, even rainy drops. it is rated at 2.5 gpm and like most rain shower heads it has good volume and water pressure. the horizontal position and level is required for the best experience. the head pivots for easy entry. feature I really like is the dropstop as grohe calls it. it prevents the head from sinking for a long time after use. no more cold drops. fit and finish are excellent. it is heavy and feels quality. the starlight chrome finish is bright, uniform and flawless. you can really tell this is a high end fixture. 5 stars for quality and great design.

Extremely attractive and funtional..
our first impressions of the shower head were that it was beautiful in its shine and style. assembly was as easy as removing the previous head by applying a fresh strip of tape and screwing in the new head (note we use a delta adjustable shower extension arm to achieve a true down position for the head ). the water flow is even all over the head providing a good amount of water to wash away the foam. our water is a bit hard and we have to clean it regularly with white vinegar to avoid limescale; so far i have been able to just wipe this head to keep it shiny. all in all a very nice shower head but very expensive. p-)
