Great Faucet But Check the Filters After Installation if Low Pressure or Sprayer Issues..
when we remodeled our kitchen 20 years ago, we installed this grohe style faucet. after 10 years the hose at the end of the nozzle got a leak and i replaced it. about 10 years later, the new pipeline also started to leak. the original faucet was white and my wife now wanted chrome so we bought this new model in june 2019. i was a little concerned about so many negative reviews this model got. other than the hoses that wear out, we've had good service from this style grohe faucet for the past 20 years. despite this concern we bought this unit. as part of the installation i replaced the two shut-off valves and the nipple going into the wall on the hot water side. after 20 years these parts tend to corrode where we live. after installing this faucet, I turned on the water and noticed that the water pressure coming out of the new faucet was very low and the sprinkler would not stay in the spray position. (These issues have been mentioned in some negative reviews.) Unfortunately, it is not clear from the installation instructions that came with this faucet that there are three filters on this unit. there is a filter at each end of the sprayer hose and one in the sprayer just behind the diffuser. when I checked these three filters, I found some particles clogging these filters. these particles could come from the faucet manufacturing process and certainly from my valve replacement. once i cleaned the filters the water pressure was back to normal and the spray function worked fine. in fact I had to clean these filters three times in the first five minutes with running water from the tap. since then this crane has been in use for over a month and has worked well. Don't let complaints of poor quality low water pressure or sprayer malfunction prevent you from purchasing this equipment. those who had these complaints were probably unaware of these filters and the need to flush the unit after installation.

Love it!!!..
love this faucet so far had a 16 year old grohe broken from the inside. before I knew where it broke, grohe, to my surprise, sent me a spare wheel and even paid the shipping. unfortunately the problem was something else that grohe couldn't replace, but it wasn't their fault. they ended up giving me a discount for my friends and family on this new faucet, which ended up costing me only $168 including tax. some have complained about the new weight under the sink that pulls the spray head back onto the faucet, but I like it better than the older spring-loaded version. this one is so smooth and stable that butta! the spindle is also nice and smooth. if you read some reviews of other brands where the sprayer doesn't even stay on the tap, i'm glad i went for this one. also the hose is metal braided versus rubber. I can't speak to the ease of installation as my plumber did, but he didn't complain. I'm very satisfied so far, we'll see how it holds up?

it is excellent and somehow improves the water pressure. it's sleek and I like the low profile. lifetime warranty is a plus.
