Love it..
we love moen products in our house and this bathroom faucet looks just as good as other moen items we have bought. it's very sleek and modern, but I think it would look beautiful in almost any setting. turning the faucet into a bathroom gives the room a whole new look and it's really beautiful. the quality is excellent, solid, very attractive and the performance is great too. the installation instructions are very simple and straightforward, it took less than 1/2 to get everything done. I highly recommend this particular faucet and any product from moen. exceptional quality at a reasonable price.

Very nice in both form and function...
it is a very nice faucet. it's a real chrome finish that might need a little more maintenance in the stain department, but it sure looks classy in the bathroom. we put it in our powder room as part of a general update to our home. the button is smooth and easy to operate. I've learned that I like single-handle faucets so much more than double-lever faucets, mainly because I hate fighting with them to get the temperature right. it makes hand washing 3 times longer and it is frustrating! it's great because it's a single button and pretty nice for a powder room. my husband, who has installed about 20 faucets in our various homes over the years, said it was really tough with quality parts. installation was a breeze. recommended!

Nice quality - Easy install..
it was my first time installing a bathroom lamp and everything went well. the only hiccup I've had is that the water lines on this faucet are 3/8" and my old fashioned plumbing here is 5/8". so it was to the hardware store to get an adapter. except for this minor setback, everything went quickly and smoothly. it took me just under an hour to complete minus the hardware store. the fixture itself is top quality and built to last. easily the best lamp in the house. i like the style and design; very stylish. the water lever is solid and works well. all the parts you need are in the box and the instructions are crystal clear and easy to follow. the faucet looks great on the sink and I'm proud of myself for removing it so easily. all just beautiful.

Elegant Smooth Functioning Perfect..
i was looking for a nice single hole faucet for a custom vanity i had fitted. the design is for a semi recessed china sink in a slate countertop that hasn't been cut or drilled yet, but i simulated it in plywood and this faucet looks beautiful. I have installed the siphon dry and I am happy with the drain construction. nothing fancy but it's very functional. I have often been suspicious of faucets where the supply lines disappear into the faucet itself. the old part of me wants to be able to replace as much as possible without having to replace the entire faucet, but I've been using a similar moen faucet for over a year with no issues. out of impatience and curiosity I hooked the power lines to the wall and ran the fake faucet through a bucket and love the feel of the handle and valves. hot and cold well mixed and on a good continuum. all in all I'm super excited to see this faucet in action in the finished bathroom. but I think we all like to think about the end of a project.

Great looking nice design easy installation...
this is a very well made stylish addition to your bath sink. the crane is a very nice heavy whole. you can feel the quality just by the weight of the device. the action is smooth and even and it controls the water flow excellently. the appliance is supplied in such a way that it can be used on a single-hole (designed for such appliance) or three-hole sink. if there are three holes, use a matching sheet to cover where the hot and cold pipe holes go. it's a nice plate, but of course the device looks better without it. permanently attached to the underside of the handle are flexible hot and cold water hoses with metal ends. this makes it fun because when you install the unit you don't have to fight for space to make the connections. the hoses were long for my application and looked a bit messy but who ever looked? for others you may need the length. there is also a new sink drain valve in the kit that attaches to the handle. all in all I expect years of good service from a very nice device.

Clean look goes with modern rustic and other styles...
this crane is much bigger than it looks. it measures about 6 inches from the bottom to the base of the handle. note: it comes with a bottom plate (counter top flange) that you may want (or need to cover adjacent holes if you had existing holes in your counter or sink). †but you can install it without the flange for a cleaner, more modern look. the plate/flange is about 5" wide and about 2 1/2" deep (I didn't just measure an estimate). I would recommend going to the side to download the documentation (with purchase, of course) that lists the dimensions of almost all the parts. the kit includes a matching chrome drain. the drain plug is a checker with a handle cleverly hidden behind you absolutely can't see it in the framed photo and it has (again) a really clean look to suit both modern and rustic styles (which wouldn't have a drain plug at all had) it is very solid, robust and heavy. is classic moen in every way (high quality) the wires are extra long making them easy to reach for installation under the counter. this faucet only uses one hole of course. the hot and cold water pipes are lined with braided steel on the outside, making them very sturdy and not bursting due to changes in pressure or temperature. the 4500 comes with a double sided hex wrench (plastic) that you can use to reach in and tighten the nuts to hold it in place. it's helpful if you don't already have the proper plumbing tools to do this. I thought the finish in the photo online made it look like a satin finish (chrome), but just to be clear, it's polished chrome (glossy). it matches another mo (soap dispenser) I linked (although the styling isn't exact - the finish is the same and they look great together). a quick comparative commentary. I have installed my share of plumbing over the years. although franke is still my favorite, i have installed some delta faucets (especially in the bathrooms) and they are well made and have held up well. I also got rid of my fair share of old (often tired) faucets - which still worked well, but the quality of their hardware often outweighed the style. that is, you are more likely to want to replace it for a style change (in 20 or 25 years) than because it won't work. you will be surprised how heavy and solid this faucet is when you receive it. well done and deserves 5 stars.
