this is a very very nice piece of geometric plumbing. as others have noted (and as stated in the description) it does not come with the stock. to be supplied (this unit uses Grohflex universal boxed blank [35 026] and alternatives cannot be substituted). it represents a really fashionable design; I am especially a fan of the handle which seems solid. I'm not sure about the symbols/ticks on the fixture, but that said, I'm not a fan of the "you gotta play with it for 15 minutes" style of unmarked plumbing that's been in vogue lately. in all absolutely nothing to complain about here; it's gorgeous and the signature starlight chrome is just amazing.

the clean lines the square goes very well with the same with the tiles ... a very modern and elegant look. the typical finish of superb grohe !! very reasonable considering the quality of the product and the excellent workmanship. the corners are a little sharp...not extreme, but i think they should be a little rounded. the dual function version is for two outlets...turn the handle one way to power one outlet, turn counterclockwise to the other outlet. that means there is no splitter valve as it is transparent...pretty cool if you use it for a bath spout and a shower and the spout has a stopper, you don't need dual function. save a few bucks. grohe can generally explain these things better... if you're not well versed in plumbing issues. it's best to hire a professional for this... especially if you're in a tight spot. others have mentioned a possible leak on the faceplate... install sealant behind the faceplate and it will be watertight...

it's a beautiful scratch and tarnish resistant device, but it's not all you need to get your tub running. you should also buy the boxed grohflex universal gross, currently $76. its not a downer, just a head up. the dual function works great for hoses with spouts and shower heads. you can run water through the spout or the shower head, not both at the same time. it can be installed in bathrooms with a bath and shower spout or just a shower. the water control is great and the handle moves so easily. it's quite big and shiny, but well worth a wipe down. depending on the hardness of your water it can cause a lot of stains. the water is heavily treated and all our fixtures stain quickly unless wiped down regularly which is why i have come to appreciate the brushed nickel or stainless steel finish but it was too good to pass up. I engaged a professional plumber for the installation and heard no complaints about the installation process.

Lifetime Warranty. grohe will replace or repair all defective products. spare parts remain available for a minimum of 10 years after a product has been discontinued. normally i choose plumbing only based on price and design. however, this home is more challenging and requires a different approach to choosing a fixture that can withstand the elements and last. I am very happy with my decision to install grohe.

Basics first: This is a two-way tub/shower faucet in that it includes a temperature control valve and a diverter valve. to control the flow to the bath spout or shower head. it comes with a huge cartridge, but you need another valve cap to install it (universal blank grohflex in box 35 026). now the things that impressed me: 1) done. absolutely beautifully chromed 2) weight/body. it's a beast of a crane, the whole box with all the trim pieces weighs over five pounds. and the reason it weighs so much is because every piece in this set is cut from solid metal. watch the video I added to see how much heavy metal goes into this set.3) accuracy. tight tolerances in the design and fabrication of the assembly lead to an elegantly sleek and streamlined finished product.4) guaranteed. like all grohe products, this is a lifetime (keep your receipt - this is for the original owners only). 5) overall beauty. this thing is exquisite in every way. and from the outside view of the installed product you have no idea of ​​the weight and mass behind the visible finished parts. it looks so classically easy installed.
